Oftentimes the job description is a wishlist. I wish I could tell you I got my job at VEED because I'm the best marketer out there.
But that’d be a lie.
It was generated by my "luck".

There are the parts of luck you can't control in terms of how every single variable aligns and then those parts you can influence.
In my situation, I had no control over the fact I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time. But I did have control over capitalizing on that with the confidence to put myself out there by asking questions and pitching my services.
Sometimes the best opportunities never make it to the job boards. Or maybe by the time you see them a decision has already been made.
If I could give my younger self who sometimes just thought she was unlucky some advice I'd say meet more people, ask questions, find problems you can do something about, be curious, and pitch yourself. Yes, some people do have it harder or easier than others but dwelling on this wont get you closer to where you want to be.
Stop overthinking to the point you allow it to paralyze you mentally and physically in a state of inaction or as others might call it…being “unlucky”
